In 1893, the Kaiser Wilhelm Pier in Heringsdorf
followed, and therewith the first pier on the
island of Usedom.
As far back as 1897, a smaller pier existed in
Zinnowitz. Since 1909, the new Vineta Pier has
steamers can also moor up here. To this day, the
piers remain ports of call for ships and popular
points for both residents and tourists.
