From the “Hakenterrasse” of Stettin, its route ran north via the “Papen Wasser”, the “Stettiner Haff” and the “Kaiserfahrt” past Jasenitz, Stepenitz, Altwarp and Pritter to Swinemünde.  From here, the route soon passes the Osternothafen lighthouse and goes out onto the open sea.

The sea voyage continues along the coast of Usedom, passing the seaside resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, Ückeritz and Zinnowitz, as well as small coastal villages like Zempin, Trassenheide and Carlshagen, the Vineta bank shrouded in legend and the isle of Oie.  And already you can see the white cliffs of Rügen in the distance From Sassnitz, you can continue your journey to Bornholm, Trelleborg or Copenhagen.
